A Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) official said on Tuesday, July 7, that local government units (LGUs) should align their ordinances with national policies amid debates on easing of travel restrictions for coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) fully-vaccinated domestic tourists.
In an interview over ABS-CBN’s TeleRadyo, DILG Assistant Secretary Odilon Pasaraba said the department adheres to the “whole of government approach’’ to prevent public confusion.
Earlier, the Inter-Agency Task Force Against COVID-19 said those who have received two doses of vaccine may present their inoculation card or quarantine certificate instead of a negative confirmatory swab test result when traveling domestically.
