The Ukrainian road sector has suffered significantly due to the full-scale invasion of Russian invaders; road companies have lost more than 200 production bases, including 40 asphalt concrete plants, the State Road Agency of Ukraine (Ukravtodor) reported on its Facebook page on Wednesday.
The State Road Agency of Ukraine (Ukravtodor) calls on travel organizations, territorial communities and local governments to dismantle road signs throughout the country in order to disorientate Russian troops on the ground.
The State Road Agency of Ukraine (Ukravtodor) in 2020-2021 eliminated 28 places of concentration of road accidents, and by 2024 plans to eliminate all dangerous places on the roads, according to the Facebook page of the presidential program Great Construction.
The State Road Agency of Ukraine (Ukravtodor) in 2021 renewed 5,000 km of Ukrainian roads and 300 artificial structures, Deputy Head of Ukravtodor Andriy Ivko said in an exclusive interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
