A year on from the success of Netflix’s Tiger King series, which profiled the larger-than-life zookeeper Joe Exotic, and after Ross Kemp’s take on the big-cat-owning premise for ITV, Louis Theroux is getting in on the action. Here, he revisits his meeting with Exotic in 2011, as part of his film America’s Most Dangerous Pets. Returning to Oklahoma with Exotic now in prison, Theroux pieces together the events of the past decade and meets the team trying to exonerate Exotic.

Who is Hercule Poirot?
As one of Christie s most famous and long-lived characters, Poirot appeared in an impressive 33 novels, and 50 short stories.
Through his illustrious fictitious carrier he caught 28 men and 23 women, often seeing through false leads and framing attempts to discover the true murderer.
He is the product of combining two other fictional detectives names from the time period of the 1920s - Hercule Popeau and Evans Monsieur Poiret.
