the war. and there was solidarity with ukraine. you ve seen that for a little bit. as some republicans, not most republicans, but some republicans, particularly the marjorie taylor greene when have started to talk down assistance to ukraine. so i think it is meant to stop that. get this assistance out the door. remind people of the core values. that is with the speech focused on. unite the united states and ukraine. and by some more time for the incredible level of assistance we are providing. but, the reality is that this war is likely to go on for sometime. and they are going any more systems that some point. this might not even be the last time we see president zelenskyy address united states. for now, i think that 45 billion dollars if you get out the door. and things are steady. then it is a successful visit. how does it help the administration s aims here that many millions of americans will have seen this speech tonight with the networks carrying, also blanket coverage on at l
american unity, and american resolve despite our differences in support of ukraine, and president zelenskyy called on that and asked on that tried to tap in to the senators and members who were in that room tonight. realistically, is there a worry among the national security team at the white house that when the republicans take no from the house talk about adding, our support for ukraine, or when some of them indeed question whether or not turn off the support to ukraine is there realistic concern in national security circles within the administration that republicans might be able to screw up the support we have been providing to ukraine thus far? we obviously want to see that support continue rachel and the spending bill which will include almost 45 billion
them and then he gave the speech in front of congress and english. i ve spoken with president zelenskyy quite a few times at length. his english is not totally fluent. he had to use his notes. he was chasing his words with his finger. he really wanted to do this in english. something that would not have been easy for him to do. he would have had to practice this and go over in order to get some timing. he delivered a few jokes lines even. and he got many standing ovations. this was something that he took tremendously seriously. and i think he wanted to quell the voices who said let us just wrap this up, let s give up on the ukrainian people. he said don t give up on us, because we have not given up on ourselves. richard, when he talked about the possibility of a summit to talk about the ukrainian terms for peace, we asked john kirby about that from the national security council who suggested that yes, that is something zelenskyy s team and biden team are talking about. possibly an in

would want to talk about the future, the future not just of security assistance and support, but the future of his country. now where he wants to, take it out he wants to get it free and imprinted and prosperous and secure, so i think very much in keeping with what we anticipated he would speak to you but again the words are not really what we will see it is how he delivers that and he just did a spectacular job. where is the dividing line right now? where is the national line between what president zelenskyy wants from the u.s. government, and what president biden is willing to try and give him? we have talked in the past about what the ukrainians desire for long range weapons and the american resistance to provide long-range weapons, so as to not risk and where is that line in terms of what they want and we have been evolving hour
