Die Sprecherin des US-Repräsentantenhauses bleibt standhaft: Trotz Gegenwehr der Republikaner will Nancy Pelosi den Untersuchungsausschuss zur Aufklärung des Sturms auf das Kapitol durchsetzen - und beruft dazu einen weiteren Trump-Kritiker in das Gremium.
Dem Untersuchungsausschuss zur Erstürmung des US-Kapitols wird auch der republikanische Abgeordnete Adam Kinzinger angehören. Die Präsidentin des Repräsentantenhauses, die Demokratin Nancy Pelosi, berief den Kritiker von Ex-Präsident Donald Trump in den Ausschuss. Kinzinger hatte für eine Amtsenthebung Trumps wegen des Sturms der Anhänger des damaligen Präsidenten auf das Kapitol am 6. Januar gestimmt.
