Artist provocateur and leader of underground band Tudósok, Dr Béla Máriás has been on the Budapest scene for 30 years. Soon to celebrate his 55th birthday, this leading alternative figure has decided to put together an album of his favourite paintings, each with commentaries written by personalities ranging from film producers to the mayor of Budapest. All will culminate in May with a presentation on the A38. We caught up with drMáriás at his Budapest studio.
