Allowing the plea of Delhi Police seeking permission to obtain voice sample of accused Aaftab Amin Poonawala in the Shraddha Walker murder case, a Delhi court on Friday said even though the fair trial is a right of an accused but at the same time, a fair investigation is required in the larger public interest.
Senior officers of Delhi Police on Saturday exuded confidence that the DNA reports of dismembered bones, which were retrieved from South Delhi s Mehrauli forest area, will help to ascertain if the said parts match with the blood samples, found inside accused Aaftab s Chhattarpur residence.
Tihar jail administration has increased the security outside Aaftab Amin Poonawalla s barrack, as the four-member Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team reached Tihar for the Post-Narco Test Interview , as per the Jail authorities.
