Former Member of Parliament and the founder of the African University College of Communication (AUCC), Mr Kojo Yankah has challenged the leaders on the need to inspire hope and confidence in the youth.
He said it is about time we change the perception that Ghana has not always been poor.
In a statement on the free covid-19 vaccines from Covax, he takes serious exception to the tag on Ghana as a poor country.
“We need to inspire our youth that we haven’t always been poor. In my next book entitled ‘Pain and Faith in Our Motherland’, I mention some bitter truths: Kwame Nkrumah set up several scientific research institutes to drive our development. Food Science, Aquatic Biology, Geology and Geophysics, Industrial Standards, Marine Fisheries”.
Two eulogies that have blissful eternal value Listen to article
The coronavirus (COVID-19) disease remains a challenge to the world. This is to the extent that the increasing rate of COVID-19-related deaths is alarming and discomforting. Anyone could be a victim to the virus. My condolences to all bereaved families.
But the challenge really is not about the virus – since we shall die, anyway. The challenge is what will be said of us when we bid an eternal farewell to the material world. Equally true is what we will say about ourselves as we exit this world.
In the last few days, I have been reflecting on the type of eulogy that matters, especially as we constantly face the threats of death. As I think about this, I cast wide the scope of my reading to incorporate the history of eulogy.

Her story is one marked with grits and grace, serving as a source of inspiration to many women not only in Africa but across the world.
According to a post she shared on her Facebook page, sighted by GhanaWeb, she left the country to study and came back home with a broken marriage.
