The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Otunba Adebayo has expressed concern over the decrease in the volume of trade between Nigeria and South Korea.
Speaking during the visit of the South Korean ambassador to Nigeria, Kim Young-Chae to his office on Tuesday, the Minister noted that the volume of trade between the two countries went down from $5 million in 2018 to $1.3million in 2019.
Adebayo stated that Nigeria and South Korea shared strong economic and investment ties with over 20 Korean companies presently operating in the country.

Published 2:06 am Following an agreement to boost economic cooperation, a Nigeria-Morocco business council has been established by entrepreneurs from Nigeria and their Moroccan counterparts.
The Chairman of the Nigerian delegation, Yusuf Abubakar, said the agreement, which was signed and adopted by both sides, was expected to explore and break new grounds for business opportunities in the two countries, according to a statement issued by the council on Sunday.
He said the partnership would create a better economy and closer relationship between Nigeria, which was the largest economy in Africa, and Morocco, the highest Francophone investor after France.
