If thereâs one thing that canât be denied, it is Africaâs boundless artistic talent.
From the north to the south and everywhere in between, Africa has produced some of the biggest stars and continues to influence international music, cinema, television and literature now more than ever.
One show that aims to add names to the ever-growing list of talented Africans is, âAmazing Voicesâ.
It is a pan-African signing reality competition show in which 10 unsigned groups from three genres take to the stage to captivate audiences and judges, claim the $100 000 prize money, and be crowned Africaâs âAmazing Voicesâ.
Malkeeya proceeds to the next round at the Old Mutual Amazing Voices singing competition as Vipaji is eliminated

Malkeeya, Kenya’s remaining candidate in the ongoing Old Mutual Amazing Voices singing competition, is set to represent the country in the competition. The other Kenyan competitors, Vipaji, became the first group to be eliminated in the only Pan-African music singing competition, after its debut on 11th April, 2021.
The groups are competing for a chance to win the grand prize of Ksh. 10.9 million ($100,000). In addition to vocal abilities, the remaining groups from across Kenya, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Nigeria and Ghana are judged on their stage presence, audience interaction, and showmanship.

The second edition of one of Africa’s premier musical shows, Old Mutual Amazing Voices singing competition is finally on TV screens across Africa.
Despite the global pandemic, the singing competition had over 500 entries for the audition phase, in which the top 10 Acapella groups from Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Zimbabwe and South Africa will be selected to experience the gruelling judging process as they display their passion and determination to compete for the whopping $100, 000 grand prize
The show is expected to attract and help unleash the brightest of African musical talents for the global stage as the music industry of these countries continues to enjoy international attention.

Old Mutual’s Amazing Voices singing competition has been renewed for a second season. The new season is set to debut across Africa from 11th April 2021.
Since the launch of season two last year, 546 entries flooded in for the audition phase, in which the top 10 acapella groups from Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Zimbabwe and South Africa will be selected to experience the grueling judging process, for a chance to win the Ksh. 10.9 million ($100,000) grand prize.
It all began in October 2020, when all entrants submitted online videos. After an initial screening process, Africa’s top unsigned talent attended closed auditions before celebrity selectors in their home countries.
