Gymnasts from six different countries will participate in the 2023 Down Syndrome International Gymnastics (DSIGO) World Championships, which will take place at the Matsport Centre in Eldoraigne, Tshwane on 23 and 24 September.

South Africa’s women’s team has thus qualified for the World Championships in Belgium later this year, while Egypt and Algeria - the silver and bronze medallists respectively, will be able to send individual gymnasts to the event as well.
