The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) says it is currently within safe levels as more people are donating blood. For a few weeks now, we have managed to keep our blood stocks up and within safe levels. I think our donors really did come through and support us – which has since eased pressure, communications officer Khesani Mahlangu told News24 on Wednesday.
