The
Attica Group, a leading coastal shipping company in Greece, has signed an agreement with the Brødrene Aa shipyard of Norway, for the construction of
three state-of-the-art Aero Catamaran vessels that will replace three of the group’s older technology vessels that serve the Saronic islands.
Budgeted at 21 million euros, the investment will be covered by own funds and bank financing. The construction of the new vessels will begin immediately after the signing of a loan agreement. Their delivery is expected to take place within the
first four months of 2022.
Boasting an ultra-modern design and innovative features, the new vessels are expected to significantly upgrade the travel experience for over 3 million passengers that travel annually on the Attica Group’s Saronic lines.
