there s a huge debate going on as to whether or not sanctions have been effective so far. i mean, they have certainly been effective. it s impossible to say they haven t worked. the problem is that they haven t worked well enough to stop russia from fight ing this war against ukraine unfortunately. and we are learning. that s the upside of the story. one thing that became clear after last year is that countries only work when the sanctions target revenues. and i think the west is now adjusting sanctions designed in order to more effectively target that particular area. we have seen deficits started to grow since earlier this year. precisely because of the price cap. so as long as that s maintained and reenforced, i think the
