Animator, Bryony Evans AN ANIMATOR from Ammanford who has worked on Golden Globe nominated ‘Wolfwalkers’ has spoken about her success working in the animation industry as we mark International Women’s Day. Bryony Evans, a former Amman Valley school pupil, always dreamed of becoming an animator and after graduating from her BA Animation course at Newport University in 2012, that is when her career really took off. Bryony’s first job as an animator was at Cloth Cat Animation studios in Cardiff, where she worked on several projects, including ‘Llan-ar-goll-en’, ‘Olobob Top’ and ‘Dave Spud’. In 2015, Bryony’s career saw her move to London where she worked on 2D feature film, ‘Ethel and Ernest’, the life story of Raymond Briggs – author of ‘The Snowman’.
