Former Deputy Interior Minister Asanov detained in Bishkek
Bishkek, Jan. 26, 2021. /Kabar/. Former Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Kursan Asanov has been detained, Kabar Agency has learnt from the press service of the ministry.
Asanov is charged with article “seizure of buildings and structures”. He is suspected of seizing the Interior Ministry building during the October 2020 riots.
It is noted that former minister was taken to the temporary detention facility of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the capital.
