SALT LAKE CITY A Comcast outage on Wednesday that affected over 100,000 subscribers in the Salt Lake area has been restored, Comcast officials said.
Service was restored for all customers by 5:45 a.m. Thursday, according to Comcast Director of External Affairs Deneiva Knight.
Knight confirmed the outage began at 4:48 p.m. Wednesday and that it was triggered by vandalism near 2277 Preston St. in Salt Lake City. Knight said that five crews were on site working on repairing the damages and restoring service throughout the night.
No more information was released, including what equipment was vandalized.
