So the strange thing is when you talk about legal opinion and i appreciate the former solicitor general and how well hes held in regard, but what you are saying is you pick an opinion and the opinion could be wrong, but your opinion is you dont ball under us. In fact, our oversight is irrelevant, that you dont have to answer questions. You dont have to produce documents that you can withhold care that has been a consist pattern in this administration. Yesterday the president of the United States asserted it for a new bright, inherent right not to deliver a political appointee who serves that interfaces with the dnc and the dccc on the Democratic National committee and the democratic congresscongress ional Committee Works directly with those had to plan the president s targeting of races to support democrats for their reelection on a partisan basis and we are not even not hear from the person because there is an inherent right not to produce out. There is a humane practical approach that is not being discussed by the senate. I am concerned that children are released and too many of them do not show up for their court hearings. If you were a sevenyearold child and didnt have an attorney, you wouldnt show up either. You can hold these children for 60 to 90 days. A limited amount of time would be humane. Provide that child with an attorney. If they do qualify, 40 to 60 of these children do qualify for some existing relief to stay in this cuntrifment very few of them are getting that because they dont have attorneys but if they do qualify let them in and increase the number of refugees we take. If they are economic migrants then deport them immediately and that message will get back. If you are coming for economic reasons and there are people who

This is cynical and its shameful and i believe, i believe that the American People can see straight through it. So i hope again, madam chair, that the president will reconsider this position. Because there is no place, no place here in this bill for political gamesmanship when it comes to our military families and our veterans. Thank you. I yield back.
