Business aviation and private flying is bouncing back. In the first half of this year, it was up by 22% over the same period last year.
There were 2.7 million flights globally, with business jet activity, in particular, up 27% year-on-year and 21% above pre-pandemic 2019 levels.
While Europe has seen a surge in activity, with nearly 300,000 business jet flights in the first half of the year – a 38% increase – it is the GCC region that has really blossomed.
