There s a lofty new way to enjoy Art Deco Weekend.
Thanks to Aroha Helicopters you can now fly high above the crowds and take in the spectacle below.
Or take The Big Swing - a scenic flight out over Cape Kidnappers Golf Course and Farm, track coastal along Ocean Beach and have a bird s eye view of Hawke s Bay s famous sleeping giant Te Mata Peak before returning to your departure point at Napier Airport.
The Aero Deco Adventures are the brainchild of Aroha Helicopters owner Skiv Devescovi.

The Napier Aero Club is expecting two Boeing Stearman biplanes to arrive for the Art Deco weekend air event.
The annual Art Deco Festival weekend wouldn t be complete without Napier Aero Club s involvement in the preparation and organisation for the fly in air event.

The Roaring 40s Harvard displays over the Marine Parade have become a large part of the festival and will be arriving on Thursday, February 18 for their first display over Hastings at 7 pm that evening.
