Firefight in the north bay tonight. More people forced out ofir right now the north bay remains an active and dangerous fire fight. Tonight more people forced out of their homes, wineries under threat and windy conditions giving firefighters a new challenge. Thanks for joining us on this special extended edition of news because of the wildfires. The death toll continues to rise as the weather makes things unpredictable for fire crews. 40 people have been killed in wildfires across the north bay. 42 people have been killed in Sonoma County. New evacuation orders in effect for parts of santa rosa and the sonoma valley. The air quality for the greater bay area improved somewhat today, especially later in the day. Firefighters are working hard to protect some wineries threatened by the flames. You see how close those flames are coming down the hill.
