(NMC) â Northern Marianas College nursing alumna Joy Lacorte received her Doctorate in Nurse Anesthesia Practice, or DNAP, from AdventHealth University in Orlando, Florida in April of this year.
âWhile I was sitting in the auditorium waiting to receive my degree, I felt a wide range of emotions,â Lacorte said. âI felt sad because our cohort had become such a tight-knit family, and that would be the last time I would see many of them. [Everyone in our cohort] had been dreaming of this day for a very long time, and we finally made it. There was an overwhelming sense of gratitude and joy.â
