Manipur Government Announces Summer Vacation in All Schools Effective May 1
The Manipur state government has announced summer vacation in all government, private schools in the state starting from May 1.

IMPHAL: In order to curb the rising COVID-19 cases in the state of Manipur, the state government has announced summer vacation in all government, private schools in the state starting from May 1.
As per the notification, all schools will remain closed from May 1 to May 31, 2021.
Notably, the Manipur School Education commissioner T Ranjit Singh in an official notification issued on Monday said that the decision for early summer vacation was taken due to an unprecedented surge in Covid-19 cases.
