JKSA establish helpline, offer free accommodation for tourists
Srinagar, Jan 5 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA) has established helpline and online platforms to address the issues of tourists who got stranded in the Kashmir valley due to closure of the Srinagar-Jammu national highway and cancellation of all air traffic since Sunday due to heavy snowfall.
The Tourism Department, Kashmir, and Houseboat owners have already announced to provide free accommodation to stranded tourists. We have also decided to offer free accommodation and other help to tourists stranded in the valley , JKSA spokesman Nasir Khuehami said on Wednesday.

SRINAGAR: In view of heavy snowfall in Kashmir valley, J&K Students Association on Wednesday established the helpline and circulated it on online platforms to address the issues of Stranded tourists in Kashmir valley.
In a statement spokesperson of the Association, Nasir Khuehami said that Association has set up helpline numbers in every district of Kashmir valley for stranded tourists to seek help during an emergency arising due to heavy snowfall.
He said that the tourists are our guests and we are ready to assist and help them to make them feel at home. It has reaffirmed the pledge to carry forward its mission and help in easing out the problems of the stranded people.
