Thanks to a grant from the Middleborough Cultural Council, the Middleborough Public Library is sponsoring a two-part series on Zoom titled, “Gravestones, Gargoyles, and More. Oh My!” The two complementary programs focus on centuries-old visual arts carved and/or sculpted in stone. You must register to receive the Zoom link, which will be emailed the day before each program. Just in time for Presidents’ Day, Middleboro Public Library is bringing back paranormal guru Tim Weisberg to present “Presidential Paranormal” at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 10 live on Zoom.
Weisberg will examine the supernatural side of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, as well as those who have occupied it including the ones that never left. From séances in the Crimson Room with Mary Todd Lincoln to secret alien exchange programs under Dwight Eisenhower, there s no shortage of weird when it comes to the White House. This program is appropriate for all ages.
