A quick heads up to all about a planning notice regarding the shop at 513 Green Lanes (the unit next to the old Post Office on the corner of Warham Road)
The proposed use is an Adult Gaming Centre premises licence under Section 159 of the Gambling Act 2005 .
In my experience, these types of establishment attract undesirables and bring nothing positive to the area. We have more than enough bookies along Green Lanes and we already have an adult gaming centre in the area.
The notice only went up this week but this application is not listed on the council website - I don t understand this, but the notice says objections can be submitted until 11th May so let s get busy
