Senatore, who owns a small men’s fashion boutique on Ossington Ave. called AREA+001, said many people are upset by the video which doesn’t make it seem like we are in the middle of a pandemic.
People are asking why small retailers, restaurants, nail and hair salons are all locked down when this can occur at a shopping mall, he said.
He said while small retail stores within the mall are permitted to open at 25% capacity, the hair salons in the mall are “watching the madness” as they are forced to remain closed.
“It’s wild,” Senatore said. “People are scratching their heads.”
