More than 200 Noosa airbnb hosts and businesspeople met on Monday night to raise concerns with proposed local laws for holiday homes and rentals.
It proposes new rules for property owners including that they apply for annual registration, keep a record of complaints and have a manager who lives within 20 minutes of the home or unit.
Home hosts â residents who let out empty rooms while they are still living in the property â will also be affected with a new requirement to register their homes annually.
