Share Updated: 10:26 PM EDT May 1, 2021 Vermonters on Saturday were filling up trash bags as a part of the state s annual Green Up Day.Green Up Day started in 1970 and happens every year on the first Saturday in May. My first green up day was the inaugural Green Up Day, Lucie Holcomb of South Burlington said. Lucie Holcomb has been taking part in the day for many years, starting back in grade school in her hometown of Sheldon. Now, she continues to participate right near her South Burlington neighborhood. When I drive down the road I want i
