After the first snow of the year fell on Saturday, we re in for another wintry day.
Police are urging drivers to take care on the roads this morning due to heavy patches of ice.
A spokesperson for Durham Constabulary said: Please be careful if driving on A19 this morning through County Durham. Low overnight temperatures and rain/sleet have left heavy ice patches along the road.
