HOLLAND A free, online lecture from Hope College this week will discuss adolescent addiction. The address will be held on Zoom at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24.

Sandra Brown, a 1975 Hope graduate who is a professor and vice chancellor for research at the University of California, San Diego, will give a lecture titled “Understanding Adolescent Addiction: What every psychologist should know.”
Brown will discuss implications for psychological science, mental health care and life while drawing on discoveries from her career in clinical research on adolescent substance use and intervention.
