Two Emirati brothers, aged 27 and 17, die in Ras Al Khaimah road accident 26 Feb 2021 Adnan Okasha, Staff Reporter Two Emirati brothers, aged 27 and 17, died in a tragic car accident in Ras Al Khaimah on Thursday. A third Emirati was also seriously injured in the accident. The car skidded off the road and overturned several times on Emirates Road towards Shaml in Ras Al Khaimah. Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Sam Al-Naqbi, Director of Traffic and Patrols Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, stated that the painful accident occurred at five in the afternoon. The police received an information about an accident and immediately dispatched ambulances and patrols to the site.

VIDEO: Ras Al Khaimah Police seize 1,125kg of drugs 20 Feb 2021 Adnan Okasha, Staff Reporter The anti-narcotics agents at Ras Al Khaimah Police seized last year 1,125 kilogrammes of narcotic raw materials of an estimated market value of Dhs25 million, despite the exceptional circumstances imposed by COVID-19 pandemic. According to Colonel Ibrahim Jassim Al Tunaiji, Director of Anti-narcotics Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, the anti-narcotics agents succeeded in seizing 1,125 kilogrammes of narcotics in co-operation with the strategic partners in in the other emirates. Al Tunaiji pointed out that as part of the seized materials, some 763 kilograms of opium were seized in one operation.

RAK Police airlift 3 exhausted Arab trekkers from mountain

18 Jan 2021 Adnan Okasha, Staff Reporter The Air Wing at Ras Al Khaimah Police rescued 3 Arab tourists who had been extremely exhausted during a mountain trip to Wadi Qada’ah near the Wadi Al Beeh area in the emirate. Colonel Pilot Saeed Al Yamahi, Head of the Air Wing Department at Ras Al Khaimah Police, said the Ras Al Khaimah Police’s Operations Room on Saturday received a report about 3 people who were stranded in Wadi Qada ah and were exhausted during a trip to the valley. A team from the Air Wing Department rushed to the place on board a Ras Al Khaimah Police helicopter. The team conducted a survey of the area, which ended with finding the three stranded people. After being given first aid, they were airlifted to Saqr Hospital for medical treatment.
