MARQUETTE The Marquette County Medical Care Facility in Ishpeming has announced eight staff members have tested positive for COVID-19.
The facility reported in a Wednesday Facebook post that no residents tested positive from last week’s testing, but three of the staff members who tested positive are home under quarantine.
MCMCF said it expected to hear on this week’s testing soon and that Walgreens will be at the facility on Wednesday to administer the Moderna vaccine.
“This will hopefully get us back on the road to normalcy,” MCMCF said in the post. “All staff continue to wear N95 masks and a face shield for their own and the residents’ safety.”
