ARRL Board of Directors to Reconsider the Use of Electronic Balloting 02/01/2021
The ARRL Board of Directors will look into the use of electronic balloting systems “to augment paper balloting for ARRL elections.” The Board instituted a hybrid paper and electronic balloting process in the fall of 2012, which was popular among those who took advantage of it, but overall voter participation declined significantly, and the Board’s Ethics and Elections Committee decided in 2015 to return to using solely paper ballots. The Ethics and Elections panel said continuing changes in technology, the acceptance of remote meetings, and significant advancements in voting processes since them have made electronic balloting worth a second look.
New Jersey Realtors Names 2021 Leadership Team
(TRENTON, NJ) New Jersey Realtors, a trade association serving more than 58,000 members, named Jeff Jones, of Randolph, 2021 New Jersey Realtors President during the New Jersey Realtors Virtual Conference President’s Installation. Also installed was Robert White, of Wayside section of Ocean Township, who will serve as President-Elect; Nick Manis, of Franklin Park, who will serve as First Vice President; Kathleen Morin, of East Brunswick, who will serve as Treasurer; and Angela Sicoli, of Fairfield, who will serve as Immediate Past President.
“I am incredibly honored by the opportunity to lead the association this year,” said 2021 New Jersey Realtors President Jeff Jones. “The world is filled with uncertainty, but the 2021 Leadership Team are dedicated professionals ready to serve the 58,000 Realtors across the state.”
