Governor and First Lady receive Johnson & Johnson COVID vaccine Photo: WINA
RICHMOND (WINA) – With the news from the Virginia Department of Health this (Monday) morning of more than a-million Virginians fully vaccinated against COVID-19, Governor Ralph Northam and First Lady Pam Northam got their vaccines in the Executive Mansion this afternoon. Nurses with the Virginia National Guard, with Adjutant General Timothy Williams looking on, administered the Johnson & Johnson brand. That means they only get stuck once.
Both got the shots in their left arms with the First Lady removing a yellow jacket for her shot, and the Governor taking off a dress shirt and took the shot in a white undershirt. Addressing the media before taking the shot, he highlighted good news in Virginia with case numbers and percentages going down, and vaccination numbers and rates going up.
