Monterey County K-6 schools will soon be able to re-open for in-person learning, according to the county s office of education.
The news follows a decline in COVID-19 cases and Monterey County’s Adjusted Case Rate has fallen below the 25 daily new cases per 100,000 threshold. The adjusted case rate was expected to be at 24 as of Tuesday.
