Nokia on Thursday unveiled new 5G radio access network (RAN) gear that brings features up to speed or ahead of the competition. Tommi Uitto, president of Nokia's mobile networks business, said the portfolio is the culmination of two years of hard work for a turnaround.
STL is making radios that will work with open RAN technology. And STL is jumping on the open RAN trend to compete against upstarts such as Mavenir, Altiostar and Airspan.
