Wahab maintains LG polls cannot be held until census results are notified

Sindh government spokesperson Barrister Murtaza Wahab lambasted the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led federal government on Thursday, accusing it of “misleading the nation.”
He based his allegations on the statement of Adil Gilani of the Transparency International, who, Wahab said, had clarified that the recent reports in which Pakistan had slipped four points Corruption Perceptions Index was based on data collected during the incumbent government’s regime.
Addressing a press conference, Wahab remarked, “The PTI, which used to point fingers at others on the matter of transparency, is silent today.”

Sindh [Pakistan], February 5 (ANI): Days after Pakistan slipped four spots on the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI), the Pakistan Peoples Party s Sindh government has slammed Prime Minister Imran Khan-led government for misleading the nation on the matter of transparency. The PTI, which used to point fingers at others on the matter of transparency, is silent today. The time has come for them [the PTI] to take a U-turn on every issue, Sindh government spokesperson Barrister Murtaza Wahab said.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Islamabad Mayor Pir Adil Gilani has announced to move court against government’s decision to mortgage F-9 Park.
Expressing serious concerns over the mortgaging of F-9 Park by the federal government, mayor of Islamabad Pir Adil Gilani said that Park was for the residents of Islamabad, condemning borrowing by mortgaging the park.
On Monday, Adil Gilani said that Sukuk bonds would not be issued in exchange for F-9 Park in Islamabad.
Earlier federal government considered mortgaging Islamabad’s biggest park in F-9 sector to get a loan.
