MOBIL OIL (FIJI) ASSISTS FIJI POLICE FORCE WITH ITS COVID-19 OPERATIONS 02/07/2021 The Ministry of Defence, National Security and Policing received fuel support from Mobil Oil (Fiji) to assist the Fiji Police Force with its COVID-19 Operations.   This was received by the Permanent Secretary for Defence, National Security and Policing, Mr Manasa Lesuma on behalf of the Minister.   In handing over this assistance, the Mobil Oil (Fiji) Country Manager, Adi Tamara said that this is part of their corporate responsibilities, and they are pleased to assist the Fiji Police Force. “I am pleased that we have been able to provide fuel to our first responders, who are on the ground dealing with the situation. I hope that this fuel donation will assist them to carry out important tasks such as contact tracing, which is essential to helping us stop the spread of COVID-19 and keeping Fijians Safe.”

The multimillion dollar complex joins a string of new Mobil service stations along the Queens Rd that have undergone major face lifts by the retail giants. Company executive director Kaushal Tappoo said they were delighted with the final product. “We have been planning the right mix for a while and I am delighted how it’s tuned out,” he said in a statement. “People expect a certain level of style and sophistication from OTG sites now.”
