Dimapur, July 9 (EMN): Nagaland Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio have extended Id-ul-Zuha (also called Bakrid and Eid al-Adha) greetings to the people of Nagaland particularly to the Muslim community. “This festival epitomises the noble values of sacrifice, trust and forgiveness. I hope that this sacred occasion will usher in good will, harmony and further strengthen the values of our society,” wrote Mukhi. “On this beautiful occasion I wish u all good health, peace and prosperity,” he added. Rio also conveyed greetings to the Muslim community on the auspicious occasion. “I extend my warm greetings to our Muslim brothers and sisters on the occasion of Id-Ul-Zuha. May the noble ideals of the day enrich our lives with peace and harmony. Eid Adha Mubarak,” he wrote.
