The Campaign for Democratic and Workers Rights (CDWR) has urged Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to reinstate five victimised leaders of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU). The lecturers were by the Lagos State University (LASU) in 2017. The governor had set up a panel to look into the issue between the lecturers and the former management of the institution. In its report, the panel recommended the reinstatement of the lecturers but they have yet to be reinstated since the report was submitted to the governor in 2022.
