The James Castle House invites you to a presentation of works from Spring 2022 resident artist, Tania Alvarez.
This hour-long event will include a presentation from Alvarez followed by a brief Q&A to offer an opportunity to see and learn more about the work she has created while in residence at the James Castle House.

Tania Alvarez is a mixed media artist and painter who explores memory and the isolation of living with chronic illness through paintings of interior spaces. Born in Seville, Spain, Alvarez received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Pratt Institute and her Master of Fine Arts from the New York Academy of Art. As a two-time Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant recipient, she has exhibited internationally with group shows in London, Norway, China, and throughout the United States. Free Arts Advocacy and Artist Resources webinars April 15 and 22
The Earlville Opera House and Sam & Adele Golden Foundation for the Arts partner with New York State Council on the Arts and New York Foundation for the Arts to present two free virtual seminars this month.
“Arts Advocacy at a Time Like No Other” is from 2 to 3 p.m. April 15 for arts administrators. It features a panel presentation by Stephen Butler, Executive Director, CNY Arts, Syracuse and Sharon Louden, Artist, Educator, Editor, Artist Advocate, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
A discussion on the arts as an economic driver and how our industry can use this current time to reinforce our impact. A Q&A session will follow.
