May 18, 2021 | 4:45 PM
Losing at the casino is never fun. For 54-year-old Adele Belizaire, it ended up costing her more than just money. According to an article from The Smoking Gun, Adele was gambling at a casino and having a rough night. She had lost a total of $380 on a slot machine when she decided she had had enough. So Adele went to her room, called the casino from her cell phone and told them she “left a bomb in your casino” then hung up. Problem is, Adele is a rewards member…which means the casino had her number on file; and when she called in the threat, her number automatically popped up. Adele was tracked down in her hotel room and arrested. She admitted she did it to “blow off some steam”. She is now being held on a $20,000 bond. For the full story, click here…
Anger Issues? You Bet
A Florida woman has blamed her anger issues and her need to blow off steam for calling in a bomb threat to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
54-year-old Adele Belizaire was upset that she lost nearly $400 playing the slot machines, so she called the front desk and told them, I left a bomb in your casino. She stupidly made the call from her cellphone, and since her number is linked to her “Player’s Club” rewards card, authorities were easily able to figure out who phoned in the threat. Belizaire told cops she lost $380 on the slots and called in the threat to blow off steam. She was arrested and charged with making a false report about planting a bomb, explosive, or weapon of mass destruction.
