The Adelaide Festival Plaza stands as a testament to the perfect synergy between community experience and cutting-edge technology.
A Heartfelt Commitment to Community
Understanding the real heart of any city – its community – the Festival .
Embodying South Australia’s appreciation of the arts and cultural landscape, the new Festival Plaza is one of Adelaide’s largest public redevelopment projects to be undertaken in recent times.
The Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) recently installed their S06 commercial expanding door to secure the front entry to Adelaide Railway Station, which is part of the Adelaide Festival Plaza Upgrade.
Specified by Adelaide-based ARM Architecture and project managed by construction firm Hansen Yuncken, the 7000mm wide x 4500mm high black satin powder-coated expanding door has been fitted with intermediate up/down locking mechanisms for seamless lockup.
Featuring an open grille old style design, these scissor action expanding doors by ATDC are frequently specified on heritage buildings and often installed at railway stations such as Wynyard Station, St James, North Sydney and Central Station in Sydney.
