According to the Police Public Relations Officer, Adejobi Olumuyiwa, 41 persons were arrested at the club by the Lagos Police Command between 1.40 am and 2.30 am.

The Commissioner of Police in Lagos, Hakeem Odumosu, has fired DPO Ajao Estate Division and his senior officers for allowing night clubbing at Garbana Club on Sunday.
This was confirmed by Adejobi Olumuyiwa, the Lagos Public Relations Officer.
The command had arrested 41 clubbers at the club btw 1.40 am and 2.30 am.
The Lagos State Government on Saturday and Sunday had also sealed 11 facilities including Event Centres, Lounges and Night Clubs among others for contravening COVID-19 directives.
The affected event centres originally informed the government of their intention to organise parties and events, but they failed to comply with COVID-19 protocols.

42-year-old man beats wife to death in Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command is currently investigating a 42-year-old man, David Idibie, for the murder of his wife, Juliana Idibie in their residence at Joado Street, Oke Ira Nla, Ajah Area of Lagos.
It was learned that the deceased, Juliana had engaged her husband David in a hot argument on certain matrimonial issues and in the process, she slumped and sustained a severe head injury, on 16th February 2021 at about 10 pm.
While lying in her pool of blood, the angry husband refused to rescue her until she gave up the ghost.
