25 The 10th Transportation Battalion (Terminal) conducted a Logistics Over-the-Shore training at Joint Expeditionary Base-Little Creek, Virginia, Feb. 1 – 5, 2021.
The objective was to train in command and control, terminal, and redeployment operations to support joint LOTS and/or large-scale combat operations from a simulated port environment to a simulated corps support area.
The battalion deploys worldwide to provide watercraft and maintenance assets to conduct Combined, Joint and/or Service LOTS, Intra-theater lift and riverine operations in support of the operational commander.
“Our job is to bring combat power to the shore and push it to the end users,” said U.S. Army Maj. Aaron Michael Edmonds, 10th Trans. Bn. support operations officer. “And this training allows us to support combatant commanders and sister units in need of logistical assets to sustain the fight.”
