Golden Monir Gold Case Update: Monir Hossain, known as "Golden Monir", was acquitted in a case filed over possessing 7 kg of gold ornaments, a huge amount of foreign currency "illegally" and Tk 1.09 crore after the judge found "inconsistencies in testimonies" of the witnesses.
