Im delight to introduce the moderator for the second panel on the turkish economy. He is a senior fellow and director of the turkey project in the center on the United States and europe at the brookings institution. At brookings and previously on the faculty of the university in istanbul he has produced a rich body of Scholarly Research on topics including u. S. Turkish relations and turkish trade policies and Foreign Trade policies, the author of several books, the newest entitled turkey and the west fault lines in a troubled airline just came out in july.
