Demolition of two story Single Family home and construction of new 5355 gross square foot four story two family home. Unit one on the bottom with two bedrooms and total of 1925 square feet. Three maybes voiced concerns of the height of the building. The department received 25 letters of support describing the dwelling unit to the neighborhood. Serves a low income and water and come is very important. You have people that come in and say, Pay Attention to us. And you have people that are paid to bump the department about getting the project through. The Planning Department, in my perception, listens to the group of people who they want to get the permits approved very fast without any real input from the public. And you are it for the Planning Department. You have a role to play to tell the Planning Department, Pay Attention to the people that are really struggling to stay in the city to get housing that is affordable to them, not housing affordable for people that are dumped from the buses from Silicon Valley into San Francisco.
