The Lennox and Addington County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest.
Shortly after 7:00 a.m. on May 17, 2021 police responded to a report of a theft from vehicle that occurred overnight in Amherstview.
Investigation revealed that a wallet was stolen and a person used the stolen credit card at two businesses in Amhertview.
The suspect was caught on video and can be described as wearing:
A two colour hoodie;
Blue mask;

The Lennox and Addington County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police have released photos of two historic texts in the hopes their owner will come forward.
Const. Shannon Cork said Tuesday the two books were dropped off at the OPP’s Napanee detachment as “found property.”

The bindings are worn, but the books appear to be the two volumes of “An Expositon of the Old and New Testament,” a biblical work by Matthew Henry, an 18th century minister and author. They were first published in 1706. Henry died in 1714.
